I am on my fourth week of taking CBD oil and I seem to feel progressively worse. I gradually increased the dose thinking I needed more and felt worse and worse. Terrible headaches, bad anxiety, dry mouth.
I really wanted it to work but I will quit taking and see if I start to feel better. Tried it for insomnia and joint pains. So this was a no go for me. Back to ibuprofen and sleep aids. What a crock of baloney. The increased pain… Not assenine. I am an avid supporter of legalization. I sell CBD oil. I use it daily.
I will not take it when I have a headache or menstrual cramps though, why? Because this gives me even worse cramps and headaches. One other person my company sold to said the same thing. I have fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue. The first night I took it I had muscle spasms. I continue to use it however.
Let me add to the voices whose fibromyalgia and nerve pain is increased by CBD. Both CBD and cannabis which I used when younger and fibro-free withut issue cause me to feel heinous pain all over; it hurt just to step on the accelerator in the car.
I lay there with aches in every connective tissue waiting for it to pass. So do believe us all- it is not a panacea for everyone. I am so glad it helps so many people but, like many drugs, has different effects in different subjects. I also feel quite fatigued and mentally spacey while taking it, almost depressed, so I need to discontinue.

Horrid head aches which I never suffer from feeling depressed stomach issue worsened. So disappointed had so much hope on cbd oil. Im a new user to CBD oil. I have severe spinal stenosis and that CBD company told me to take a dropperful twice a day.
By the end of the day my anxiety was better but I am in so much pain I could not take the dog for a walk. I tried CBD for pain anxiety and depression. Initially I noticed some benefits so I reordered a stronger dosage. When I was doing practices of mindfulness and others to help myself the CBD seemed to enhance the positive results.
But when I tried taking CBD to alleviate pain and depression and anxiety on its own it only got much worse. First week it made me calm and happy.
I recommend getting magnesium power, my favorite is Natural Calm by Natural Vitality the one that has rasberry-lemon that you can get on Amazon. You can mix in with water or tea and it tastes pretty good. I also put it in a Kava tea made by Yogi called Stress Relief and have it before bed.
The two combined helps me a deep sleep like nothing else. And someone mentioned Kava already, aside from the Kava tea I have, I haven't actually tried real Kava yet but I ordered a sample pack from a website that should hopefully come sometime this week.
If you read anything about it being bad for you liver, those are mostly false reports, there's a World Health Organization report you can easily find that states they found no conclusion evidence of Kava being hepatotoxic. My last recommendation to check out is Kratom. I've only had it a couple times when a friend offered while camping but I had a few drinks prior which I believe reduces the effectiveness of it. I feel like I need to try it again without any alcohol in my system but I felt the effects a little the first time I had it.
It does taste like grass though. Even though the level of THC is low, can it show up in a random drug test? Anybody in the same situation? I tried their CBD oil for pain and it helped. Magnesium also actually helps more than people realize - but it's also important to take a more absorbable form.
Magnesium Oxide, for example, is not absorbed well and isn't as effective as Magnesium Malate. Jigsaw Magnesium is the best one I've found - I take that daily and it works really well. Obviously magnesium on its own isn't going to completely alleviate anxiety, but it does help relax you a bit.

I take 2 in the morning and 2 later in the day. I haven't noticed any marked drowsiness from it, personally. I realized that I was probably even slightly deficient diet-wise.
A lot of people actually are and don't know it. I'd suggest maybe just starting with half the recommended dose at first and then scaling up - but it shouldn't cause any noticeable side effects or make you drowsy. It's perfectly safe to take daily - I feel confident that you won't have any problems. Lastly, Bold Ruler mentioned Claire Weekes and I have to second that for anyone struggling with anxiety of any kind.
I read her book on Agoraphobia a few years ago when I was struggling badly and it made a major difference in my life. It's basic, simple, and can really make a difference. We have a tendency to tense up when we get anxious. It sounds elementary, but the second you just stand or sit up straight, control your breathing, and relax your body, the anxiety almost automatically starts to vanish. Best of luck, fellas. Also, I'm sure you know this already, but Denny is the last person anyone should ever take advice from. Super high doses of CBD can actually start to have reverse effects according to some studies. There's no reason to seek out the highest concentrations or highest doses.
When it comes to CBD, less is often more. Start small and gradually work your way up a bit. You really shouldn't need to take that much. Sometimes as little as mg is all you need. I was also think as for anxiety issues as well. I still stand by my statement to buy American grown and made oils as the imports are far far below our qualitys and likely use extra non organic solvents.. Stand straight, breathe well, relax the body.
